BioCultural Diversity's Fragile Equilibrium

Have you ever played jenga? You would know how stressful it is to keep a balance of the structure as you attempt to remove one item when your turn comes.

Biodiversity and cultural diversity are critically interconnected and the bond is as fragile as a jenga stack.  Each unit is supported by one another and there are some bonds which must never be broken.

As humans managing our planet, we are free to make changes to suit our survival accordingly.  Our culture which depends so much on nature hangs in the balance as we move in haste towards modernity.  But be warned, one wrong calculated move will end up in pieces.  And unlike jenga, the pieces can't be stacked back up all over again.  We have but one planet to live in.  Move and remove with caution.
