TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Borneo Hornbill Festival Ethnic Dance Competition
- Open to all Malaysians.
- Each team must perform two dances: Sabah or Sarawak Ethnic(ASLI) and Dance Medley (Rampaian Ethnic-Kreatif **dgn muzik asli**)
- No age limit for participation.
- Each team must have at least 6 to 10 dancers.
- Each group must provide own music on CD only.
- Expenses such as food, rent, clothes, accommodation etc., are dependent of each group.
- All registrations and payments can be made with Money Order for Persatuan Warisan Sarawak Kuala Lumpur Dan Selangor.
- Registration Fee is RM150.00 per group.
- Each group must upload a footage (video preview) of their dance performance. • Duration 1- 2 minutes
- The organizers deserve the right to disqualify any group deemed inappropriate for this competition.
- The organizer will limit the number of group to 20 teams and the event held for 1 day.
- Persatuan Warisan Sarawak Kuala Lumpur shall not be held responsible for any loss or damage to personal items or belongings to participants throughout the whole duration of the event.
- Persatuan Warisan Sarawak requires every participant to be responsible for their own health, safety and environment (HSE) throughout the competition.
- All cost pertaining to the participation of this event, including but not limited to transportation and logistics, accommodation, meals, personal assistance, costumes owned or rental and make up shall be borne by the participants themselves.
- The organizer has the right to change any regulations, if deemed appropriate.
- Each team will be given time for the rehearsal two (2) days before the event.
- All decisions by the organizer is final.
Score
- Originality of choreography and dance - 35%
- Prop - 10%
- Synchronization dance with the music - 20%
- Creativity-30%
- Originality of clothing - 5%
NOTE
- Registration for the Dancing competition starting from Jan 2013 - June 1st, 2013.
- Competition will be held at the Malaysian Tourism Centre, Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur.

1) Champion - RM3,500.00 + Flight ticket + Trophy + Certificate
2) Second Prize - RM3, 000.00 + Trophy + Certificate
3) Third - RM2, 000.00 + Trophy + Certificate
4) Choreography - RM300.00 + Medal + Certificate
5) The Special Jury Award - RM300.00 + Medal + Certificate
